Resuscitation Research Hub

We aim to be a collaborative hub for resuscitation research that drives innovation in patient care and improves trauma science.

We are Clinicians that work in Prehospital and Retrieval Medicine, Trauma Care, Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesia and Pain Management, Perioperative Care and Intensive Care. We have active research interests in ECMO CPR, Damage Control Anaesthesia, Advanced Blood Product Resuscitation and Regional Anaesthesia/Analgesia for Trauma.

The Redline relates to the redline often used in ED Resuscitation bays to keep unnecessary clinicians out of the treatment area, or in operating theatres to denote the clinical area where operations occur. It also refers to maximum acceleration or speed in motor sport – translating to the speed required for optimal and vital meaningful interventions in resuscitation care. The blue to red signifies the transition from deoxygenated blood to oxygenated blood like in an ECMO circuit.
